A beautiful Bordeaux style blend with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Grenache, and Syrah. This wine was placed through a two-year French Oak barrel aging program, then left to rest for an additional two years. Vintage 2010, alcohol 12.5%, 0% Residual Sugar.
Moderate body, with hues of brick red. Intense aromas of plumbs, spice, cherry and nuts. Gentle tannins, leading into aged fruit with a slightly acidic backbone. As this wine has aged it shows great complexity between oak, fruit, and moderate tannin astringency. This leads to a very balanced, smooth, and complex wine.
Pair with beef or duck. Vegetables such as beets or carrots. Pairs well with hard cheeses.
