Silver, NC Fine Wines, 2021
This 2019 wine was barrel fermented in Hungarian and French oak barrels. This wine was aged in barrel for an additional 10 months. During its aging, battonage or barrel stirring was done to develop a creamy body.
This wine opens with intense banana and nectarine aromas, with flavors of pineapple and coconut cream pie and a distinct allspice character.
Pair with Brie, chicken in cream sauce and morel mushrooms or grilled salmon steaks with hollandaise sauce.
